The idea of AvianTracker is to spread knowledge about the birds of the world, through the use of photos, videos and writing.
The foundation of all content is the result of vigorous fieldwork, with many hours spent on islands and in the forests, fields, highlandss of the world, tracking down rare and endangered avian species - hence the name AvianTracker.
Focus especially lie on those species of birds which doesn’t typically get a lot of attention, to make sure that their story are told and in doing so make it easier for people to engage with and contribute to their conservation.
One such bird is the Seychelles Blue-pigeon, a island columbiform endemic to the Seychelles, and the mascot of AvianTracker.
